Walk the entire wall in a day!

Yes, all 84 miles of it! This is a challenging and fun corporate team building event for groups of 80 to 100 people.

The 84 mile route from Solway to Wallsend is broken into 10 sections from 6 to 11 miles long.

The event starts at 10 different points. (Roughly in the middle of the wall's length)

The participating group is broken up into teams of 8 to 16 and transported to their assigned sections. The sections vary in terms of difficulty. Individual abilities are taken into account when assigning sections and the challenge has suitable checkpoints and rest breaks.

All teams are collected from their section finish points and transported to The Sill for a small celebration opportunity.

About Hadrian's Wall

Hadrian's Wall once marked the northern boundary of the Roman Empire. It stretched across the narrow neck of the Roman province of Britannia, from the North Sea on the east to the Solway Firth ports of the Irish Sea on the West. It crossed some of the wildest, most beautiful landscapes in England.

Today, nearly 2,000 years after it was built, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the most popular tourist attraction in Northern England. A remarkable amount of it remains — in fortresses and settlements, in "mile castles" and bath houses, barracks, ramparts and in long, uninterrupted stretches of the wall itself.
